1941 Gibson L30 – £1699

NEW ARRIVAL  By 1941 the Gibson L30 featured sunburst back and sides, rather than plain brown, making it visually more appealing, and this is a beautiful example in a fantastic looking faded tobacco sunburst, with very desirable script logo. The tone is voiced beautifully for blues, jazz and swing, has a very comfortable neck – quite chunky – and a great playing action all the way up the neck. It has the kind of playwear you’d expect from an 82 year old guitar, and lots of great looking lacquer checking. The guitar is in good condition, with a repaired back crack, and just back from a pro refret. This guitar looks, feels and sounds fantastic, and has the kind of vintage vibe that is impossible to replicate in a reissue. It comes in a non original hard case.
