1937 Gibson L00

SOLD  The L00 is probably Gibson’s best know blues guitar, and to find a 30’s example is becoming very difficult. This is one of the best sounding examples I’ve played, full of character, vibe, and mojo. When you pick the guitar up you soon realise why it’s been played so much, the single note clarity is excellent and the sustain is really impressive. Also it’s very comfortable to play – after years and years of gigging, the V profile neck feels great. Despite all the playwear and lacquer checking, it’s in amazing condition with no cracks or repairs. It’s just back from a neck reset so it plays like a dream and is strong enough to go on for another 86 years. This is a great chance to own a piece of Gibson history – it even comes in it’s original hard case.

1936 Epiphone Navarre – £3999

NEW ARRIVAL  30’s Epiphone flat tops are one of the best kept secrets in vintage guitars, and certainly amongst the rarest. The Navarre flattop was introduced in 1931, and was Epiphone’s response to the Gibson Roy Smeck Stage Deluxe. It’s a big bodied Red Spruce /...
