1936 Gibson L-00 – £4999

NEW ARRIVAL  The L00 is probably Gibson’s best know blues guitar, and as their desirability grows, they’re becoming more difficult to find. This is a great example, full of character, vibe, and mojo, with stunning good looks. When you pick the guitar up you soon realise what all the fuss is about – there’s a real bite in the attack, the single note clarity is excellent and the sustain is really impressive. Also it’s very comfortable to play – after years and years of gigging, the chunky V profile neck feels great. The sunburst finish is particularly striking, contrasting with the fire stripe pickguard beautifully. The guitar has a couple of repaired top and side cracks and has been over sprayed. It’s just back from a set up so it plays like a dream and is strong enough to go on for another 89 years. This is a great chance to own a piece of Gibson history – it even comes in it’s original hard case.

1963 Gibson B25 – £2499

NEW ARRIVAL  The B25 was produced between 1962 - 1977, replacing the better known LG2. As an early 60’s example the guitar has the more desirables wider neck, and the most vivid cherry sunburst, which contrasts well with the beautiful tortoise pickguard. The guitar is...
