1934 Chamberlain Model 3A – £899

NEW ARRIVAL  This is a piece of English music history as much as a beautiful guitar – dated 29/3/1934 and hand signed by Joseph Chamberlain of Leicester. It’s a 000 size 12 fret guitar, with solid Spruce top and Birch back and sides, ladder braced, with string through bridge and tailpiece. It has a floating pickguard, the kind of which I’ve never seen before – held in place by five screws, plus brass tuners with bone buttons. Tonally it has a ladder brace honk, which cuts through with a strong mid range. Very balanced, working well for blues, ragtime and country picking. The guitar is in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs, and a very comfortable neck with a soft V profile. To add to it’s desirability, it comes in it’s original hard case, also in very good condition.
