NEW ARRIVAL The Martin 0-16NY was made from 1961 until 1992 and in that time only 6,138 were made, so this model is rare. The model played by Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull, the 0-16 NY is a parlour guitar, with slot headstock, and a wider neck joining at the 12th fret. Perfect for fingerstyle, the 1 7/8" neck feels great in the left hand, with more room for more intricate play - also ideal for alternate tunings. The guitar in nicely balanced, surprisingly loud for a small guitar, working well with light strumming. The Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides, well matured over 48 years of play, sound warm and rich. The guitar's in excellent, all original condition, with no cracks or repairs. It does however have a previous owner’s telephone number lightly scratched on the back of the headstock.
