2022 Atkin L36 Custom

SOLD  With this guitar, Atkin have taken the already classic L36 (Thirty Six) and with a nod from history recreated a version of the very rare Gibson Nick Lucas. An L-00 shaped guitar with Spruce top and Maple back and sides. The difference being that the original Gibson would have had a deeper body. The Sitka Spruce top has been baked to age the tone, and also features Santos Rosewood fretboard and bridge, and is finished off with a super thin Aged Nitro finish and a stunning tobacco burst. The guitar is refreshingly different sounding – unusual to hear Maple on a 00 size guitar. It’s a great fingerpicker, working really well for blues, ragtime and country blues. The strummed tone is bright and punchy, well detailed and evenly balanced. It feels effortless to play, and great fun to have such a different sound. The guitar is in excellent ‘aged’ condition, and comes in it’s original hard case.
