2016 Martin HD28 Centennial

SOLD  The HD28 is considered to be a step up from a standard D28, with Ebony fingerboard and bridge, scalloped bracing and Herringbone trim. The scalloped bracing make this guitar very lively, the top resonating more than a standard D28. It produces a big sound, with a prominent bass but even mids and trebles. Working well for all styles, from flat picking and strumming through to fingerstyle and lead lines. It handles just about everything you throw at it. At 8 years old the tone is starting to mature really well, with greater depth and complexity than a newer model. The guitar is in excellent condition, with a very comfortable neck. As a Centennial model, celebrating 100 years of the dreadnought, it’s a particularly collectable model, and comes with a centenary booklet celebrating the history of the dreadnought. The guitar comes in it’s original Martin hard case.
