2016 Dave King Katrina – £1749

SOLD  Over the last 20 years, Dave King has become one of the forerunners in British luthiery, all of his guitars have a genuine hand made feel, the tone and playability of which are superb. This example is a 12 fret 000 model, featuring a Sitka Spruce top with Indian Rosewood back and sides. The Spruce / Rosewood combination give great clarity and definition, and the body size gives fantastic balance. The resonance is probably the main thing you notice – single notes chime, and the sustain is really impressive. Overall it’s a great all rounder, very comfortable to play and even better to listen to. The guitar is in excellent condition, just the odd ding visible. It comes in it’s original Hiscox flight case.
