2014 Martin DCPA5 – £799
NEW ARRIVAL This 2014 Martin DCPA5 Performing Artist guitar features a solid Sitka Spruce top and high pressure laminated (HPL) back and sides with a Mahogany wood pattern with a single cutaway to provide easy playability on a traditional dreadnought design. The guitar has a classic Martin tone, with a perticularly rich bass and bright trebles. There’s a warmth to the overall tone, no-doubt helped by the ten years play, clearly visible by the wear on the top. The neck feels snug in the left hand, making playability comfortable. There’s a Fishman F1 analog pickup fitted, which sounds very natural when plugged in. The guitar comes in an upgraded hard case.
