2012 Gibson B25 Custom Shop – £1999

NEW ARRIVAL  Gibson’s B25 was the lesser known replacement of the highly regarded LG2 back in 1962. So when Gibson decided to produce a Custom Shop limited edition reissue in 2012, it raised a few eyebrows. However, if you prefer the classic 60’s tone, rather than the dryer 50’s tone, plus the look of a faded Cherry Sunburst finish, and the tone and flexibility of an adjustable saddle, then this is a fine guitar. The 00 size, X braced body has a Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides, producing a very balanced sound. The Spruce provides the punch, and the Mahogany mellows it down, making the guitar very versatile, both for fingerpicking and strumming. Plus at 10 years old the tone in starting to mature very well. The guitar is in excellent condition, has great playability, and comes in it’s original hard case.
