2012 Gibson 1930’s L-00 True Vintage – £2799

NEW ARRIVAL  Only built as a limited edition of 40 worldwide, the 1930s L-00 True Vintage takes its cues from the post-1937 models; prior to that year, the back was not bound. This model was put together by a very small team in Montana and the quality really shows. Gibson have done their very best to make this a period-accurate acoustic guitar.  It features an Adirondack Red Spruce top, Mahogany body and neck, and Indian Rosewood fingerboard and bridge, with hide glue construction. It has a classic V neck profile, Gibson script logo decal, with traditional scalloped X bracing, and a thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. As well as classic good looks, it has an authentic tone, great sustain, and real single note clarity. Not just a blues machine, but a surprisingly versatile guitar, and a real head turner. The guitar is in excellent condition, and comes in it’s original Gibson embossed hard case, with limited edition certificate.
