2011 Collings 0002H All Koa

SOLD  Koa is one of the most spectacularly beautiful tonewoods used in guitar building, and is becoming increasingly rare. Add to that Collings’ exceptional craftsmanship and meticulous build quality, and you get a guitar that is simply sublime. This is a 000 size model with a 12 fret neck join, Ebony fingerboard and pyramid bridge, bound neck and headstock, and herringbone trim. The tone is bright and crisp, with crystal clear single notes, great sustain, and a real complexity as the notes bloom and shimmer. It’s a wonderful fingerpicking guitar, yet it strums out surprisingly well. The neck has a very comfortable modified V profile, and the playability is fantastic. The guitar is in excellent condition and comes in it’s original luxury hard case.
