2006 Bourgeous Signature D – £2799

ON HOLD  This guitar is Dana Bourgeous’ modern re-creation of the pre-1944 Herringbone Martin D28. However, this is not a standard model, this guitar has an Adirondack Red Spruce top with Bearclaw figuring, and the most beautiful Madagascar Rosewood back and sides. The sheer power and dynamic range of this guitar can cut through just about any mix. It has incredible presence and deep bass response, yet the balance from a rich midrange to strong powerful trebles is very impressive. It’s very responsive for fingerstyle playing and handles flat picking supremely – seriously one of the best dreadnoughts you will ever play. The guitar’s in very good condition, with the usual signs of light playwear, and a few scuffs on the back of the neck, also the label has been signed by hand by Dana Bourgeois himself. The guitar comes in it’s original hard case.
