2001 Taylor Jumbo Custom Koa – £1999

NEW ARRIVAL  Taylor’s Jumbo Custom Koa is visually very striking. The beautiful all Koa body is accented with Tortoise fingerboard and body binding, and Abalone purfling and rosette. The Ebony fingerboard and headstock have distinctive Abalone inlays only used on Koa guitars. Koa is a rare tonewood, and is only found on the Hawaiian islands. In Hawaiian, Koa means “bold,” and that actually describes the tone of this guitar. Not as bright as many Taylors, the sound is strong and room filling. When fingerpicked it has a very clean sound with good clarity and sustain. As with all Taylors, the playability is excellent, although this guitar has a slightly wider neck measuring 1 13/16” (47mm). The guitar is in excellent condition, and has a Fishman Prefix Stereo Blender pickup system fitted. It comes in it’s original Taylor branded hard case.
