2001 Martin J16-RGTE – £1349

NEW ARRIVAL The 16 range was introduced to offer a more affordable way of buying an all solid USA made Martin. This example is a jumbo version featuring a Spruce top, with Rosewood back sides. It produces a rich full sound, with a deep throaty bass, yet well balanced and resonant across the mids and trebles. The guitar is capable of handling heavy strumming with a room filling sound, yet equally happy being fingerpicked and responsive enough when played delicately – it really is a great all rounder. This 2001 model is in very good condition, with light playwear, and a repaired top crack, and the neck feels very smooth and easy to play. The guitar has a Fishman Prefix blend pickup system fitted, and comes in a non original hard case.
