2000 Guild D40 – £1199

NEW ARRIVAL  Built in Corona, California, just after Fender’s ownership, the D40 has classic Guild looks with high end build quality. The very desirable wood combination of a solid Sitka Spruce top and solid African Mahogany back and sides provides remarkable volume, clarity and sustain. The premium appointments include a Rosewood fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, Grover tuners, and tortoiseshell pickguard. The guitar’s in good condition, with a few nicks and dings showing it’s 20 years of play, which is also reflected in the maturity of tone. It comes in a non original hard case.
