1993 Martin Custom 0-16NY – £2499
NEW ARRIVAL The Martin 0-16NY was made from 1961 until 1995 and in that time only 6,138 were made, so it’s a rare model. It’s an 0 size Spruce / Mahogany parlour guitar, with slot headstock, and a 1 7/8” neck joining at the 12th fret. This particular example is a Custom model featuring a Torch headstock inlay with Martin stamp on the back of the headstock, 42 style snowflake fingerboard inlays, pyramid bridge, and V profile neck. The guitar in nicely balanced, surprisingly loud for a small guitar, working well with fingerstyle and light strumming. The Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides, well matured over 31 years of play, sound warm and rich. The guitar’s in excellent, all original condition, and comes in it’s original hard case.
