1993 Gibson Gospel – £1349

Originally available from 1973 – 1979, the Gospel was reissued from 1992 – 1997 but with different specifications. The 90’s Gospels have a more vintage look about them, with a prewar style tortoiseshell pickguard, Kluson tulip tuners, and an antique natural finish. Also different to the 70’s models, 90’s Gospels have Mahogany back and sides, the back being arched. The square shouldered dreadnought has a big sound, with a full bass, and the arched back gives a more direct punch in the mid range. For a 27 year old guitar the tone has matured well, and is in excellent, all original condition, with no cracks or repairs. The guitar comes in it’s original and very desirable embossed tan hard case.
