1990 Martin HD28 – £2299

SOLD  The HD28 is considered to be a step up from a standard D28, with Ebony fingerboard and bridge, scalloped bracing and Herringbone trim. The scalloped bracing make this guitar very lively, the top resonating more than a standard D28. It produces a big sound, with a prominent bass but even mids and trebles. Working well for all styles, from flat picking and strumming through to fingerstyle and lead lines. It handles just about everything you throw at it. At 31 year old the tone has really matured, with greater depth and complexity than a newer model. The guitar is in very good condition, with light lacquer checking adding to the vibe. This guitar is a P model which means it has a low profile neck, which is very comfortable to play. It has a passive undersaddle pickup fitted, and comes in a non original hard case.
