1986 Martin 000-28 – £2099

SOLD  The Martin 000-28 is pretty much the industry standard fingerstyle guitar, found in most recording studios, and played by many of the greats. It’s a Spruce topped 000 guitar with Rosewood back and sides, and at 34 years old has a real maturity to it’s tone – very open and beautifully balanced. It has a rich sustain, with good attack and clarity on single notes, making it a very versatile guitar, capable of all styles of play. The Spruce top has turned a warm honey colour, and the the Rosewood back and sides have a lovely patina. The guitar’s in very good condition, with no cracks or repairs, just general playwear. The guitar has an active under saddle pickup fitted and comes in it’s original Martin embossed hard case.
