1978 Fylde Orsino – £1799

NEW ARRIVAL  This is a very early example of a Fylde Orsino, and the age has really matured the tone. The first thing you notice is the depth of the bass, well rounded and rich, yet not overpowering so the mids and trebles have plenty of room to blend beautifully. The guitar’s a dreadnought body shape, and features a Cedar top and Mahogany back and sides. The fingerboard and bridge are beautifully figured Indian Rosewood, and diamond Abalone inlays finish off the classic look. It’s in good condition, with the signs of playwear that it’s been played and loved in equal amounts. It has a K and K active pickup fitted, with tone and volume control mounted inside the soundhole, and comes in it’s original Hiscox flight case.
