1971 Guild D25M – £1199

NEW ARRIVAL  This is a great chance to buy a vintage US made Guild, at a price you wouldn’t normally expect, made in the famous Hoboken factory in New Jersey. The Guild D25M is the model famously played by Ryan Adams, it’s a dreadnought shape, with all solid  Mahogany top, back and sides. The model later changed to a Spruce top that was stained Mahogany with and arched back, so this early example is quite rare. Tonally it has rich, smooth, vibrant sound, good bass response yet very well balanced and it’s hugely playable with a comfortable playing action. The guitar’s in good condition, all original, with one repaired top crack and one by the end pin. The guitar comes in a non original hard case.

NEW ARRIVAL  Larrivee’s L-03-12R is no longer in production, in fact the only 03 series 12 string currently available is a Spruce / Mahogany model retailing for $2349. I think they’ve missed a trick discontinuing this model, as the Rosewood back and sides in a satin...
