1967 Gibson LG0 – £1299

NEW ARRIVAL  Gibson’s LG0 is the lesser known cousin of the LG1 – a 00 sized, ladder braced acoustic, but with a Mahogany top rather than Spruce. The tone is smoother and warmer than an LG1, and what it lacks in attack it makes up for in sustain. The guitar works really well for folk and blues, particularly comfortable with fingerstyle play, but handles light strumming well. The guitar is in good condition, with no cracks or repairs, and beautifully contrasting tortoiseshell binding. It has an upgraded Rosewood bridge, rather than the original plastic version, and a modern reissue pickguard. The guitar comes in a non original hard case.

1996 Gibson Hummingbird Montana Special – £1999

SOLD  The Hummingbird is one of Gibson’s most iconic acoustic guitars, and visually it has to be my favourite model. The beautifully faded Cherry sunburst finish blending into an amber centre, contrasting beautifully with the unmistakable Hummingbird pickguard, and...
