1965 Gibson LG1 – £1849

NEW ARRIVAL  This 1965 LG1 is a great example of an affordable 60’s Gibson, with authentic tone that no modern guitar can come close to. Visually it’s just what you’d want from a vintage Gibson, with an unmistakable dark cherry sunburst. Tonally it’s bright and punchy, but with added depth in the bass – the ladder bracing adds quick attack. The guitar’s is in great condition, with a very playable neck and comfortable action. There are no cracks or repairs, just some opaque areas on the pickguard, and an upgraded Rosewood bridge (the original would have been plastic) to improve tone. It comes in it’s original, and very cool hard case.
