1950 Gibson L48 – £1749

NEW ARRIVAL  This is a lovely example of an early 50’s Gibson archtop in excellent condition, and even with it’s original pickguard in tact. The tobacco burst is still deep and rich with fantastic looking lacquer checking. Tonally it has a big, bright sound that will cut through in a mix, equally happy playing blues, rag, old time, swing and jazz. The classic feeling 50’s neck fills the left hand without being too chunky, and the action is excellent. The guitar has no cracks or repairs, and comes in a non original hard case.
